Julie Haroun

Co-Founder and Principal
Julie Haroun co-founded SIR Development with her husband, Robert Haroun, in 1993. A real estate broker and attorney with more than 40 years of experience, Julie brings a distinctive combination of legal, sales, marketing, and development expertise to the company.

Julie began her career at Time Equities Inc., where she marketed and sold condominiums and cooperative apartments in New York City. She later practiced real estate law at Weil, Gotshal & Manges for eight years. After moving to Westport and raising her three children, Julie became a top-producing real estate broker at Coldwell Banker. In 2006, she founded Westport Residential, SIR Development’s exclusive sales agency, where she continues to serve as managing broker.

At SIR Development, Julie is involved in every project from the pre-construction phase through sale and closing. She helps identify and acquire properties, oversees permitting and approvals, and directs the company’s sales and marketing efforts. Today, she works closely with her daughter, Annie Haroun, SIR Development’s Managing Director, to lead the family business and continue the tradition of quality, integrity, and exceptional service that Julie and Robert established more than three decades ago.
