Mike Hanafee

For over 15 years, Mike Hanafee has served as SIR Development’s Exterior Property Manager, overseeing the design, procurement, and installation of residential landscape projects. Working closely with the landscape architect and SIR’s Project Managers, he ensures that each project is executed seamlessly from concept to completion. With a passion for detail and quality, Mike’s expertise helps create stunning outdoor spaces that complement SIR homes. His attitude and positive approach ensure a smooth transition from construction to beautifully finished landscapes and grounds.

Mike also serves as property manager for  SIR’s commercial portfolio.

With over 40 years of experience in the horticultural field, Mike spent 12 years with Blondie’s Treehouse in New York City and more than 15 years with L&L Evergreen in Norwalk. He earned a B.A. in Marketing from Bryant & Stratton College in Boston before furthering his education in landscape design and gardening at the New York Botanical Garden School of Horticulture.

Born in Greenwich, Connecticut, Mike now resides in Norwalk with his wife, Pat. He enjoys spending time with his three granddaughters. In the winter months, you’ll often find him biking and fishing in the Florida Keys.
